A classic emerald triangle clone circa 2010, coveted and preserved by growers in Humboldt’s coastal surf village Trinidad, now recreated in stable seed form. At HSC they occasionally get the opportunity to keep a clone strain’s flame burning through their process of backcrossing and selfing a clone until the seed line consistently displays the traits of the original clone.
HSC are proud to have done this with many Emerald Triangle clone classics, Trainwreck and Headband, to name a few and for a strain to reach levels of notoriety in the worlds cannabis strain capital we know it must be special. Banana OG is insanely productive, has that very popular candy gas terpene profile and surprised them with excellent yield as a washer, both in its photoperiod form as well as their autoflower conversion.
Expect giant colas that are frosty green with attractive purple highlights and THC averaging over 25% in both photo and autoflower form. The Banana OG also displayed resistance to PM, OG’s nemesis as well as other fungal pathogens. A great strain for rosin folks or eclectic growers and brands that want to differentiate themselves with a cult classic.
