Durban Poison® Feminized Seeds Description

Durban Poison® is a sativa strain that originally found its way from South Africa to Holland in the 1970s. After a few generations of growing in northern Europe, indica genetics from an unknown source were able to permeate the strain. The indica genetics can be noticed in the early growth of wide leaves. The sativa genetics kick in by the end, giving long buds and narrow leaves.

This strain is very mold- and pest-resistant, she grows fast and produces tall, bushy plants, and can produce excellent results outdoors and indoors. Durban Poison® generates high yields and is an apt choice for outcrossing with late bloomers if you want to create strains that flower earlier, it also performs well in artificial light conditions. Indoor harvests are ready within 8-9 weeks, and outdoor harvests can reach 3 meters in height before being ready, typically in late September or early October in the Northern hemisphere.  

Despite the minute fraction of indica genetics, the effects are all clearly very sativa, with a potent, clear, uplifting, energising, high that is akin to that of some Thai strains. Durban Poison® feminized has a pleasantly sweet flavor of aniseed or liquorice, with subtle hints of clove.
