Blowrange Description
Blowrange is another new strain from our latest seedbank, Grateful Seeds, a cross of Blood Orange Sorbet and Orange Cookies. The cultivar has a mix of exotic terps ranging from sweet sherb funk to vanilla & freshly squeezed clementine juice.
The breeding team over at Grateful Seeds used their mother cut of Blood Orange Sorbet from the esteemed squad over at DNA Genetics, selected by The Uncle Jack. The goal was to retain the exotic blend of sweet candy-like sherbert funk, with the silky smooth vanilla terps and ripe, freshly squeezed clementine juice whilst improving the vigour, plant structure and intensifying the orange flavour. The Blood Orange Sorbet is a really unique strain that exhibits a lovely blend of funky, fruity sherbet notes that stain your tongue for eternity with a tart, sharp blood orange terp profile from the tangie that makes it really special. This is why Greateful Seeds were hoping to retain the original Blood Orange Sorbet mother's terp profile.
Grateful Seeds chose their male cut of the Orange Cookies a few years back after a tiny pheno hunt from Obsoul33t Genetics. They were astonished at how lucky they were to have found what they viewed as their favourite orange terps of all time. Their cut of the Orange Cookies manifests sharp, freshly squeezed blood orange notes flawlessly matched by sweet cookie back notes. The structure of the buds grows in the classic cookie structure, with a substantial internodal distance and hefty yield. The structural presentation of the plant is rounded extremely dense buds, as we've come to expect from cookie genetics, & she will often pack purple hues in the last few weeks of flowering.
They found average-sized plants with great vigour and an exotic terp profile close to the original mother and does not express too many tangie properties during extensive testing. If you're looking for pure orange terps, then the Orangina will be the cultivar for you, but if you're looking for an exotic sherbert, vanilla ice cream, and orange juice, the Blowrange is the only choice for you! Bloworange produces ample coating of trichome glands that lend themselves perfectly for dry sift production.
