STRAIN STORY Skunk from Scratch is a tribute strain to one of Reefermans mentors, Dave Watson aka "Sam the Skunkman'. Developed over decades, this is one of his longest projects and has never been commercially motivated. Scott Family Farms began this journey in the 90's and it was done in stages, taking time to best capture what could be recovered from Skunkmans lost classic. STRAIN DETAILS This line was initially polished in Jalisco Mexico in 2006. She is now a fairly stable inbred line tall tasty sativa with amazing happy high and unique flavors falling more toward a creamy sugar sweet, with hints of carrot to incense. No harshness and with a strong Sativa effect. GENETIC HISTORY We used an Acapulco Gold x Kabul Afghani {M} on a Santa Marta Colombian Gold x Kabul Afghan {F} to breed the initial Version of the plant. Some selected clones from this line were shared on Vancouver island, and many have maintained cuts of her for more than a decade. Red Congolese was a byproduct of the early stages of this project.
