Sheberghan Description
A definitive classic of north west Afghanistan, this medium to high yielding plant grows to 2m and is shorter than many other local varieties. It is a luxurious dark green with a red tinge to its buds. Sheberghan has the most distinctive smell of Afghan strains with hints of juniper, orange essence and cocoa.
Sheberghan is a city located in the Jowzjan province in the north west of Afghanistan. It is one of the lowest cities in the region with an elevation of about 250m above sea level. The area is famous for stories of Marco Polo and its people are from a mixture of Uzbek, Tadjik and Afghanistan.
Sourced by Afghan Selection, it is strongly characteristic of Indica strains and the locals believe it to have many medicinal uses.
